About us

Sadly in this great country of ours we have people from all walks of life struggling from day-to-day and week-to-week and falling below the poverty line: whether they are trying to raise a family on their own, have recently been made redundant or had a business misfortune, suffered the loss of a love one, or just can’t make ends meat. Kiwi Outreach wants, with your help, to reach out to these people and give them a hand up – it’s the Kiwi way!

  • Reaching Out

There are already community groups and charities that are doing a great job of providing food parcels, second hand clothing and furniture to those in need. Kiwi Outreach is slightly different: we want to provide struggling families and individuals with basic necessities they can’t afford or put off buying: like new school uniforms, sheets & bedding and essential electrical appliances. Bed's especially for children that are sleeping on the floor. We want to assist people with broken down washing machines and fridges so clothes can be washed and food kept fresh. These are all basic needs.
  • A hand Up and not a hand Out!

To ensure that we reach those most at need Kiwi Outreach is partnering with those who work with the needy in our communities: community groups and churches. These partners will help us identify those who need assistance and how they best can be helped. We give our partners access to our confidential online ordering list and will be able to select items that will best assist those they are working with. When Kiwi Outreach is in a position to provide the selected items the goods will be distributed to the nominated recipients free of charge.

We are busily engaging and building partnerships with churches and other partners in Cambridge so we can ensure that we are supplying and bringing the items a community really needs.
